What is house-swapping?

House swapping is where you exchange your main home, holiday home, mobile home or camping car with another member. Choose the country and the region in which you wish to holiday, you can find another member interested in swapping with you.
You go and live in their home and they live in yours, for a period agreed between you.

Who can swap ?

Everybody! I doesn't matter whether you are a home-owner, a tenant or you live in a company apartement. More specifically this service is for the gay and lesbian community and their frineds.

What are the advantages?

Cost: You are housed for free, and you can reduce the costs of eating out constantly. You may, depending on the terms of your agreement, also benefit from the use of the other member's car. You simply pay the travel to your destination.

Comfort: You will benefit from all the comforts of a main or holiday home. You will have a lot more space than in a hotel, and have better facilities available in the house and garden than in a holiday let.

Welcome: You can arrange to be greeted by the other member's friends or family, benefitting from advice on things to see in the region and on local activities.

Peace of mind: Your own house will be lived in, your plants watered and your pets looked after, depending on your agreement with the other member.

Discovery: The possibility to widen one's circle of friends, discover another culture and learn about the real life of the people who live there. On your return you will be able to talk objectively about the country you have visited, and possibly convince your friends that there is an alternative way to spend one's holidays.
